Scanbelt Alignment detector

The SCANBELT Conveyor Belt Alignment Detector System monitors the alignment of the Conveyor belt by measuring the horizontal drift of the conveyor belt from the ‘trained’ position. The alignment detector does not make any contact with the conveyor Belt whilst the conveyor belt is operating within its limits.
In the event of the conveyor belt misaligning beyond its allowable drift limit, the edge of the conveyor belt will come into contact with the striker rollers.
Continued Drift will result in the trip mechanism being activated. Drift will result in the trip mechanism being activated. The unit is factor setup to trip when the striker roller moves approximately 18 degrees from the home position.
