Scanbelt Dead Pan Switch

The ScanBelt Dead Pan Switch detects conveyor belt rip by detecting material spillage on the feed path of the conveyor belt. When the weight of the material collected on the pan exceeds 1.5Kg, the pan tilts and thus activates a non-contact voltage free switch. The operation of the unit is based on the cantilever principle. If a different tripping weight is required, this can be achieved by adjusting the length of the shaft via a grub screw.
