Scanbelt Head End Control Unit – HECU

The HECU is the primary interface to the SCANBELT™ CONVEYOR BELT PROTECTION SYSTEM providing the following functions

• Allows remote Pre-start request via digital inputs or via the field bus
• Provides MCC with safety status of the conveyor belt. 
• Pull-Switch Safety Interlock “SAFELINE” monitoring
• 4-20mA or Dry Contact Belt Speed Monitoring
• Winch System interlocking
• Conveyor Belt Sequence Monitoring
• Conveyor Belt Pull-Switch monitoring
• Conveyor Belt Chute Monitoring
• Profibus/Modbus TCP or Modbus RTU field bus /Ethernet / Ethernet IP
• Conveyor Belt Protection Device Monitoring
• External Siren Control
• Tail End Pre-start Control
